My name is Jason Whitener and I started this site JasonMac.us as a site to host my Macbook Podcast as well as share other media, thoughts, and ideas with other mac users. I'm originally from a small town in north central Texas called Corsicana. I lived there 30 years and moved to a town 45 miles North of Corsicana called Waxahachie, where me and my wife Susan now reside. Susan and I met online in 1999 thru a chat program called ICQ. We have no kids yet but do have a doggie "Fuzzy" who is like a kid to us. I have been into computers for over 15 years and have been on the internet bandwagon since 1995. Although I have yet to make computers and the internet a career, I do find time to make it an extreme hobby. I plan on furthering myself in the IT field in the near future and maybe landing a career in it. I am well experienced in HTML and web design, windows, macs, some linux, video editting, etc... I am a dear fan of the late TechTv shows that used to air here in the U.S. I'm currently experiencing the Web 2.0 boom like everyone else and learning about it as much as I can.

Please remember that this is a community and if you decide to list your promo and not want to play a promo in your show then you won't be very successful. This site is geared towards the podcaster who reports promo plays. The more promos that you play in your show the more opportunity you have at becoming the 'Featured Podcast' which is a constantly evolving on the site. This feature also tells you who would be willing to play your promo. What promo you play is entirely up to you, we would probably recommend one that is suitable for your audience, there are no limits to how many promos you can play. The beauty of all of this is, there quite literally is nothing to sign up for, or, to do to be able to use this site. We don't your life story, your email address or any personal details from you.
